Eneryield wins the SKAPA innovation award

Eneryield is winning the SKAPA prize of 500 000 SEK and can call themselves "Swedish champions of innovation 2020".

SKAPA foundation encourages the best inventors to develop innovations that can improve society. The SKAPA prize is awarded to the persons making the most deserving efforts to creative new products and services leading to commercial opportunities. Every year since 1986 one "Swedish champion of innovation" has been awarded the prize in memory of Alfred Nobel.

- We can not describe how proud we are to be selected in this tough competition. This gives us the opportunity to speed up development and accelerate the transformation towards a more electrified society, Karl Bäckström at Eneryield says.

In their motivation, the jury highlighted the relevancy of Eneryield's innovation in a world where the demand of electricity is rapidly growing and how it suits the Sustainable Development Goals.
